Parallels Share Folder from Mac Finder
- JUST SIMPLY DRAG AND DROP -
Here I will show you step by step how actually put
Parallels Share Folder in Finder, so you can access it
directly from your Finder or my Document on Windows
with Drag and Drop.
1. Open Parallels, but don't run the windows yet, and
click EDIT. Then on the configuration windows, chose
Share Folders, and tick Enable
Share Folder.
If you haven't got a folder to share on your MAC you
want to share, click + button to add it.
(here my share folder called XARA)
2. Now run the Windows on, and run Install
Paralells Tool, from the menu at the top bar.
After the procces done you'll see a shortcut of
Parallels Share Folder.
3. Now Press Start Button to find My Document, and
RIGHT Click on, and Chose Properties. It will come up
the My Document Properties Window.
4. In the target bar: Change the target to this:
\\.psf\mac
(This means that your document will be actually on mac
side, now windows)
Then Press MOVE. It's Done!!
Now Let's have a look what it's look like---> Your
MAC Share Folder will be the same as Your My Document
in Windows.
